My name is Jerry Dicker and I have been working professionally in arboriculture since 1997. I am a member of the Arboricultural Association, the Small Woods Association and the Field Studies Council.

I hold insurance for professional indemnity (£2,000,000) and public liability (£5,000,000).   I continue to do practical tree work, surveys, inspections and reports in my local area. This website aims to advertise the following services more widely.

Tree decay detection

I was one of the first in the UK to use the Picus Sonic Tomograph. This relatively new technology gives a cross sectional scan or "map" of decay within the tree using a virtually non-invasive method. I also use the IML Resistograph, a sophisticated microdrill which reveals the hardness of the wood inside the tree.

Tree identification and Woodland Management:  I run courses on these subjects.  Click on 'Courses' at the top  of the page
